A Magical bedtime story with Insipring Songs

Our Approach

“When my 4 year old daughter Caitlin said, 'Guess what I do if I am sad or confused… I breath three times and I focus inside and I know what to do.' I knew the CD was working its magic.”

Linda Hamilton, mom and NLP coach

Summary of the Approach used in Dream Child :

We began by opening ourselves to divine love and divine guidance using spiritual principles and practices that are prevalent in many religions and spiritual traditions, including thankfulness, prayer, guided visualization, requests guidance, and deep breathing to listen to inner or spiritual guidance.

During the writing and recording of the story and music, we prepared ourselves as a team by praying and focusing our own energy with the intention of circling the listener with love and light.

To access the listener's subconscious brain we have used many tools that the subconscious brain loves – such as music, colour, rhymes, stories, metaphors, symbolism and repetition.

Some examples of specific symbolism/approaches we are using:

Sparkly Path: symbolizing a journey of light.

Grateful Singing Flowers: symbolizing beauty, life and the importance of starting with thankfulness – the base of many spiritual practices.

Puppy : the Puppy plays the role of the Fool Card in the Tarot deck - symbolizing the beginning of a spiritual journey, youth enthusiastically stepping out, going forward with a sense of play and the attitude that it is the process that brings the joy, so it is OK to make mistakes. Also, the description of the puppy lying on the warm grass (grounding) recalls the root chakra.

Beautiful White Dove: symbolizes beauty, and the release of worries through breathing and letting them go. The image is to go from heavy to light, like you are floating/flying… Holding on to fear makes us heavy, but breathing and consciously releasing worries lightens us and prepares us for a new journey. When we let go, often new creative solutions can come to us more easily than if we are tightly holding on. Breathing is a way of becoming present in our bodies.

Mama Teddy Bear – the Bear is the protector, and Mama is the nurturer, symbol of unconditional love (at its best). Mama of all the Teddy Bears in the world suggests that this teddy bear is coming from source (the mother of all). Fur, large, warmth – all things to cozy into and feel safe and protected. This symbol also encourages the understanding that all emotions are part of who we are and are OK. Love – heart chakra.

Sunshine and Beams of White Sunlight – symbolize connecting to the divine through elements from nature…breathing the sunshine in, because love and light start from within. Sunlight and light also symbolize inner power and access to warmth and love, a way of feeling energy and love inside and between oneself and loved ones. Shining like the sun means being your full radiant self.

Connection to the mountains, seas, flowers, trees and everyone – As even Dr. David Suzuki is now saying, we are all interconnected. The basis of most spiritual beliefs is a sense of oneness or interconnectedness. Nature is a wonderful way to feel that connection and when we lift ourselves to love the whole world we reach a cosmic-type consciousness. Crown chakra.

Angel – Symbolizes a connection with all, with the divine; also the attainment of cosmic consciousness, and the act of receiving divine protection and love. Crown chakra.

Goodnight Prayer – symbolizing divine love and divine light that enfolds and surrounds you all through the night…intended to create light and love around the child. This is a prayer for the child, bringing in only loving energies and suggesting only peaceful loving dreams to the subconscious.

Lullabies – Pulling it all together and sending the child off to sleep with beautiful loving lullabies that lift their beautiful spirits.
