Beverley Elliott
Beverley Elliott is the magical voice you hear on Dream Child and Magic Carpet Ride. A versatile artist, Beverley is a singer, award-winning songwriter, and actress with over 150 film and TV credits. She has appeared in numerous musical theatre productions, including two award-winning one-woman shows at the NYC Solo Festival. She is also a lively and engaging children's entertainer. Beverley's original music blends earthy, inspiring folk/pop with a humorous twist. She has released four albums: Yellow Dress (solo), The Sweetest Day (with the group August), and two children's albums for Joyfilled Music. Beyond her musical career, Beverley has shared her insights through a TEDx talk on "The Power of Storytelling." She also teaches, offering acting lessons to both kids and adults. In collaboration with her friends Nancy Bradshaw and Michael Creber, Beverley co-wrote and co-composed the songs featured on these albums.
Michael Creber is a Grammy-nominated and Juno Award-winning artist who pursues a wide-ranging career as a pianist, film composer, arranger and producer; embracing many genres of music including jazz, latin, folk, R&B and rock. He has performed with symphony orchestras across North America and has recorded and toured internationally with k.d. lang (including performances on Saturday Night Live, the Grammys, Arsenio Hall, Austin City Limits and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), the Irish Rovers (including 36 television specials) and world-renowned family entertainer Raffi (including performances on Broadway). He co-produced and co-wrote 3 albums with Raffi including their 1994 hit CD, Bananaphone. Other luminaries Michael has worked with include Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Martin Short, Joan Rivers, Bob Newhart, The Rankin Sisters, Shirley Bassey, Powder Blues, Jim Byrnes, Dee Daniels and Valdy. Michael has released four albums of original music: Brand New Smile, Dancers of the Spheres, Smooth Sailing and Songs For My Baby.
Nancy Bradshaw, PhD, is a concept creator and co-writer on these CDs. Nancy has worked with schools and hundreds of children designing and leading play that promotes social and emotional learning. An award-winning, socially and environmentally innovative entrepreneur working in the nonprofit community, her idea for the Dream Child sprang from her own experience as a mother whose fun-loving child had a minimal interest in going to sleep! Surprised at the time finding no suitable resource, Nancy resolved to create one: a set of story-embedded songs for bedtime that are interesting, fun, and transportive; that seed healthy messages for the subconscious mind to dream on and leave an after-taste of safety and love. She is thrilled with the opportunity to work with two spectacular musicians and is appreciative of the positive feedback from many grateful parents!

Michael Creber
Our purpose is to provide loving music that fills a child’s heart with a sense of wellbeing and connection, while drifting off into a deep sleep. Our hope is to help generate an emotional awareness and resilience, which can provide a child with a foundation for strong and loving relationships in preparation for a healthy future.
